Last summer, the Rohrer College of Business granted its 1,000th free college credit to high school students enrolled in the popular Think Like An Entrepreneur (TLAE) academy.

This year, for the eighth summer, TLAE is back and is accepting applications for the program that runs June 26-28.

As in past summers, TLAE is free but seats are limited. Interested students and their parents may apply by May 28 for priority consideration but must apply by the June 4 deadline. Accepted students will be notified by email by June 6.

The three-day, non-residential academy is for rising high school juniors and seniors entering the 2023-24 academic year.

Funded through generous support from the TD Bank Charitable Foundation, the program teaches students to:

  • conceive, develop, prototype and sell their ideas;
  • transform an idea into a viable business;
  • experience college early as they study with Rowan faculty and student leaders and work with a team toward a common goal.

All students who successfully complete the program will earn three free college credits, the equivalent of one college course, which may be applied to a Rowan University degree or transferred for credit to another college or university.
