Rowan University celebrates Rally House opening and eCampus partnership
Rowan University, Rally House and local officials gathered on Rowan Boulevard to celebrate the opening of the University’s new official retail store and the launch of its partnership with eCampus.com, enhancing access to apparel, merchandise and affordable course materials for students.
Rally House, a leading retailer of officially licensed collegiate and professional apparel, is now the University’s retail merchandise operator, succeeding Barnes & Noble.
“Rally House is thrilled to join the Rowan University campus,” said Aaron Liebert, Rally House CEO. “As our fourth collegiate campus partnership, this location presents an exciting opportunity to connect students, employees, alumni and nearby residents with high-quality apparel and merchandise that reflect the pride of Rowan, Glassboro and the greater Philadelphia region.”
The celebration also marked Rowan’s partnership with eCampus.com, which began in July and manages all course material sales and rentals. The platform provides students with a personalized online storefront for print and digital textbooks, helping them access required materials quickly and affordably. It also features a marketplace where third‑party sellers provide additional low‑cost options, supporting the University’s commitment to expanding access to affordable learning resources.
“The rising cost of textbooks is one of the most significant financial pressures students face. It is more important than ever that students have access to affordable class materials. We’re proud to partner with eCampus.com to meet these needs of our students. At the same time, Rally House provides a new destination for students, alumni and visitors to celebrate Rowan pride,” said President Ali A. Houshmand.
Following the celebration, students, faculty and staff were invited to explore the new store, which features an expanded selection of Rowan-branded apparel, accessories and gifts that reflect the pride and energy of the growing institution. The shop also carries apparel from Philadelphia and New York professional sports teams.
Director of Athletics Shawn Tucker reflected on Rowan’s successful athletic season and the strong sense of spirit shared across the University community.
“While Rowan may be only the fourth collegiate partnership for Rally House, I know we’re going to be the best.”
