Rowan University Foundation announces 2026–2027 officers

The Rowan University Foundation’s Board of Directors recently announced its slate of officers for the upcoming term. Effective August 20, these leaders bring a wealth of experience, dedication and vision to guide the organization through its next chapter following the conclusion of the successful Forging Forward fundraising campaign.

The newly appointed slate of officers is:

• Chair: Angela M. Brown ’98, Co-Founder, Perfecting Ministries
• Vice Chair: David J. Strout, President, Cettei & Connell, Inc.
• Treasurer: James D. Stewart, Jr., Retired CEO, Raiffeisen Bank International
• Secretary: Gina Lemanowicz Pusloski ’03, Special Investigator, State of New Jersey

“It is an honor to serve my alma mater as Foundation chair,” said Brown. “I look forward to working with the entire Board as Rowan continues to expand access, affordability and opportunity for students.”

As co-founder of Perfecting Ministries in Sewell and executive director of Loving Our Cities, a 501(c)(3) community development corporation with a mission to enhance the quality of life in distressed communities, Brown is no stranger to serving her community. She will build on the strong work of former Board chair David S. Burgin and lead the Foundation Board’s efforts to achieve the ambitious goals established by President Ali Houshmand and the Rowan University Board of Trustees.

Joining Brown on the slate of offices are David J. Strout, James D. Stewart, Jr. and Gina Lemanowicz Pusloski, who bring combined decades of financial and community service experience to the Board.

“Rowan University is fortunate to have the leadership provided by the Foundation Board,” said President Houshmand. “The University’s growth and progress have created the need to find diverse, highly qualified leaders for our boards, and we are thrilled to have these individuals lend their expertise and knowledge to guide the Foundation Board’s efforts.”   

The new officers were selected following a vote held during the organization's annual reorganization meeting on August 20, 2026. The Rowan University Foundation oversees and coordinates all fundraising activities and manages and invests all charitable contributions to benefit the University.
