Rowan ranked #64 for Best Value; Top 100 Public Research

Rowan University’s reputation for academic excellence continues to raise its national standing. In the 2027 U.S. News & World Report college rankings released today, Rowan again placed among the top 100 national research universities and earned noteworthy gains across several categories.

Rowan jumped 50 spots to #64 for Best Value Schools among national universities. Best Value is determined by several factors, including academic quality and the level of need-based scholarship support provided to students. The publication also ranked Rowan #134 in Best College for Veterans.

Undergraduate academic programs with notable ranking increases include: 

• #87 - Engineering (up 25 spots)
• #217 - Computer Science (up 12 spots)
• #230 - Economics (up 18 spots)

Among other categories, Rowan also ranked #213 in Top Performers on Social Mobility; #301 in Business; #394 in Bachelor of Science in Nursing; and #395 in Psychology.
