Fall 2026 issue of Rowan Magazine hits the mail stream

Something special is happening inside mailboxes across the country: Rowan Magazine is being delivered.

Full color, glossy, and with 64 pages plus cover, Rowan Magazine is making the rounds to keep alumni and friends of Rowan University informed about what’s been happening on- and off-campus. The digital version is posted with links to resources, too.

Readers will find upcoming alumni events, Campus News and Class Notes—as well as a peek inside the first year of Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine and some of the ‘whos’ and ‘whys’ of the successful Forging Forward campaign.

Ahead of the PBS television special airing in December, the magazine presents Ric Edelman’s Alumni Advisor column based on his new book, “The Truth About College.” 

This issue’s Afterwords essay from professor emeritus William Kushner is storytelling with a heart—a feel-good and funny tale about a football player who called an audible for his own future.

Other highlights include a tribute to President Ali Houshmand’s 20 years of service, an early look at plans for West Campus development, and an introduction to the institution’s Defy Definition marketing campaign.

Now in its 31st year, the publication continues to be a favorite of alumni. According to a survey by the Office of Alumni Engagement this past year, respondents rated the magazine as the most effective communication they receive from Rowan.

Alumni who want to share news of a life milestone, career change or other update may submit a class note for possible inclusion in the next issue. Suggestions for Rowan-related stories—or requests to join the mailing list—can be sent to: editor@rowan.edu.
