Rowan University has successfully concluded “Forging Forward: The Campaign for Rowan University,” surpassing its $240 million goal and raising $244.7 million to support students, advance research and innovation, and strengthen the University’s long-term growth.

Launched publicly in September 2025, the campaign built upon several years of early philanthropic momentum and broad engagement across alumni, donors, corporate partners, foundations and friends of the University.

Rowan University President Ali Houshmand said the campaign’s success reflects the continued confidence supporters have in the University’s trajectory and mission.

“This achievement reflects the confidence our alumni, donors, corporate and community partners, faculty, staff and friends have in our mission and our future,” said Houshmand. “The collective efforts of so many during this campaign have strengthened Rowan’s foundation and created countless opportunities that will drive our success for years to come.”

Campaign support has helped expand opportunities for students through increased scholarship resources, strengthened experiential learning initiatives, and investments in academic programs designed to meet evolving workforce and societal needs.

It has also supported Rowan’s continued advancement as a nationally recognized research institution, including investments in faculty excellence, interdisciplinary research and partnerships that expand the University’s impact.

As well, philanthropic investments have contributed to major campus initiatives designed to create modern learning environments and expand access to state-of-the-art facilities that support academic and student life.

The campaign concludes during a period of continued growth for Rowan, which has nearly doubled enrollment since 2012 and continues to receive national recognition for its expansion as a public research institution focused on access, innovation and regional impact.

“When we announced Forging Forward, we said that together we would forge a brighter future for our students and society,” said Houshmand. “Thanks to the generosity of every individual and organization who partnered with us, we have done exactly that—and Rowan’s future has never been brighter.”
