Due to the inclement weather expected throughout the region, Rowan University's campuses and facilities will be closed Sunday and Monday, Jan. 25 and 26.

Essential employees should coordinate schedules with their supervisors. All other employees and students should not visit any Rowan campuses or facilities.

Given the severity of this storm and likelihood for power outages throughout the region, non-essential employees are not required to work. All classes are cancelled

Exceptions are:

  • On the Glassboro campus, the Wellness Center, Recreation Center and Student Centers will remain open for on-campus students. Please check their respective websites for changes in hours of operation. Please note: The Glassboro campus Barnes & Noble bookstore will be closed Sunday and reopen Monday at noon.
  • Guidance for virtual instruction for Cooper Medical School, Virtua Health School of Osteopathic Medicine and Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine will come from their respective deans.
  • Rowan Medicine and Shreiber Veterinary Teaching Hospital leadership will notify their employees and students of operations in additional notifications, respectively.

Report hazardous walkway/lot conditions
During a snowstorm, sidewalks, roadways and parking lots will often be cleared and/or treated multiple times as conditions evolve. We encourage the prompt reporting of weather-related hazardous conditions and impediments on University property. Please call the Rowan University Police Department at 856-256-4922 to report hazardous campus conditions.
