The Jean & Ric Edelman Fossil Park & Museum of Rowan University (EFM) is nominated for Best New Museum in USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards – and you can help it win!

The $75 million museum, hailed by Smithsonian Magazine before its opening as one of the world’s most anticipated, takes visitors on a journey from the late Cretaceous Period – the heyday of the dinosaurs – to the environmental challenges of today.

Since its March 20 ribbon-cutting, the museum has drawn more than 102,000 visitors, welcomed 13,247 members, and sparked more than 2.1 million social media impressions. Guests have dug for fossils in the quarry, explored virtual reality worlds, and connected with deep time in ways that inspire awe.

Voting in the USA Today poll runs through Dec. 22, and supporters may cast a ballot once per day.

“Together, we’re inspiring wonder, discovery, and a love of our planet for generations to come,” says founding executive director Kenneth Lacovara, Ph.D.
