Gabrielle Audu, Sally Rohan and Archana Kumari, Neuroscience, Rowan-Virtua SOM, published Gas1 regulates embryonic tongue muscle proliferation, differentiation, and maturation via alternative pathways to Hedgehog signaling in Development.
Mark Berkey-Gerard, Journalism, received $51,050 from New Jersey Civic Information Consortium to support South Jersey Climate News.
Kristin Bertsch, Rowan Family Medicine, received $117,288 (Total funding to date: $1,892,676) from Health Resources and Services Administration to support Model State‐Supported Area Health Education Centers.
John Hasse, Geography, Planning, and Sustainability, received $258,683 from NJ Dept. of Military and Veteran Affairs to support the National Guard Facilities GIS Internship Program.
Richard Jermyn, Virtua Health College of Medicine, received $200,000 (Total funded to date: $600,000) from US Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration to support the study Northeast Collaborative to Improve Access to Overdose Treatment.
Frank MacLeon, Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine, received $9,000,000 from NJ Department of Human Services to support FY26 – Integrated Eligibility System Support.
Alison Mancuso, Rowan Family Medicine, received $166,660 (Total funding to date: $2,006,789) from Health Resources and Services Administration to support the Health Careers Opportunity Program.
Margarita Olivencia, Upward Bound, received $300,490 (Total funding to date: $1,190,403) from US Department of Education to support the Rowan University Upward Bound Program.
Elisabeth Pollio, Rowan-Virtua CARES (Child Abuse Research Education & Service Institute), received $399,684 (Total funding to date: $1,594,125) from US Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration to support Project CARES: Increasing Access to Effective Trauma-Focused Treatment Through Training and Self-Care.
Brett Pulliam, Student Success & Inclusion, received $907,600 from The New Jersey Office of the Secretary of Higher Education to support NJ GEAR UP/College Bound Grant.
Bethany Raiff, Psychology, received $25,530 (Total funding to date: $72,991) from The Medical University South Carolina (Prime Sponsor: National Institutes of Health) to support the study “The impact of cannabis and tobacco/nicotine product co-use in young adults: Prospective cessation evaluation and substitution.”
Stephen Scheinthal, Psychiatry, Rowan-Virtua SOM, received $125,000 (Total funded to date: $625,000) from US Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration to support Integrated Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention from Opiates Training for Individuals at the Frontline of the Opioid Epidemic in New Jersey.
Charles Schutte, Environmental Science, received $20,000 (Total funding to date: $33,915) from Florida State University (Prime Sponsor: US Department of the Treasury) to support the study “Assessing restoration success and ecosystem services across the Panhandle Region to assist in restoration target setting.”
Casey Woodfield, Wellness and Inclusive Services in Education, received $248,956 (Total funding to date: $746,619) from Syracuse University (Prime sponsor: US Department of Education) to support Project IMMERSE (Inclusive, Multicultural, Multilingual, Effective and Responsive Special Education).
Kirti Yenkie, Chemical Engineering, received $5,000 from Computer Aids for Chemical Engineering to support the study, “Integrating machine learning based sustainability evaluation for chemicals and processes in the undergraduate curriculum.”
