On Friday, Sept. 5, at about noon, the University will TEST the Rowan Alert mass notification system.

All students are automatically registered to receive text and email messages when Rowan Alerts, Timely Warnings and Advisories are shared with the University community.

Most employees are registered and we strongly encourage all employees who are not to register today at myRowan (search "emergency alert"). Guests of the University can register as a visitor.

Individuals can also receive alerts through RowanSafe, a free mobile app available for smartphones.

About Rowan Alert

Rowan Alerts, Timely Warnings and Advisories are designed to inform our campus community (students, employees and guests) about potential threats or other situations occurring on or near one of our campuses. The notifications include information so individuals can take safety precautions for themselves.

For more information, visit About Rowan Alert.

Thank you for contributing to the safety and well-being of our University.

Sincerely,

Steve Rolando
