Nursing program named to Money’s list of the Best Graduate Schools in America
Rowan University’s graduate nursing program was named in March to Money magazine’s list of the best graduate programs in America.
Under the heading, “Best Nursing Master’s Programs for Your Money,” editors noted that nurses with graduate degrees will be well positioned for success in the coming years.
“Nurse practitioner jobs, which require a master’s degree, are projected to grow by 45% in the next decade,” editors wrote. “This list of best nursing programs includes a variety of options, from speciality institutions focused on health sciences to large public universities.”
The University, which provides a variety of nursing degree options through the Rowan-Virtua Salva School of Nursing & Health Professions, offers a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing as well as an RN to BSN program in partnership with Our Lady of Lourdes School of Nursing. At the graduate level, the school also offers three Master of Science in nursing programs: the MSN Nurse Practitioner; MSN Nurse Educator and MSN Nurse Executive.
