RIPPAC to host U.S. Senate candidates Kim, Bashaw in appearances at Rowan
Both candidates for New Jersey’s U.S. Senate seat will discuss their visions for America’s future during appearances this month presented by the Rowan Institute for Public Policy & Citizenship.
U.S. Rep Andy Kim, a Democrat, will appear as part of the RIPPAC Speakers’ Series on Thursday, Oct. 10, while Republican candidate for Senate Curtis Bashaw will speak on Monday, Oct. 14. Both appearances, which are free and open to the public, will be on Rowan’s main campus, 201 Mullica Hill Road, Glassboro.
Kim will speak at 7 p.m. on Oct. 10 in the Eynon Ballroom of the Chamberlain Student Center. Registration by Oct. 9 is requested.
Bashaw’s appearance begins at 7 p.m. on Oct. 14 in Room 104 of Business Hall. Registration by Oct. 13 is requested.
The candidates’ appearances are co-sponsored by the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies, the College of Humanities & Social Sciences, the Departments of History, Law & Justice Studies and Political Science & Economics; the John H. Martinson Honors College; and the American Studies program.
