WGLS-FM again nominated for best college station

Rowan Radio 89.7 WGLS-FM is among five finalists for Best College Radio Station of the Year in the 2024 Pinnacle Awards competition.

Other finalists include stations from Colorado State University, Michigan State University, North Carolina State University and Oregon State University. The contest features universities with at least 10,000 students.  

The winner will be announced in New Orleans during the 2024 Associated Collegiate Press/College Media Association National College Media Convention in November.

Rowan Radio was previously named Best College Radio Station of the Year by the College Media Association in 2022 and 2023. This is the fifth finalist nomination by the Pinnacle Awards for Rowan Radio 89.7 WGLS-FM including nominations in 2013, 2017, 2022 and 2023.

Presented by College Media Association, the Pinnacle Awards recognize the best in individual and organizational college media. Additionally, last week WGLS-FM earned four finalist nominations in the Pinnacle Awards for individual audio.

Celebrating its 60th anniversary, Rowan Radio has won more than 360 regional and national awards since 1993.
