Rowan University’s Office of Admissions has developed pathways to assist students affected by the closing of the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

The fourth fastest-growing public research institution in the nation, Rowan offers four undergraduate degree programs for arts students through the University’s College of Performing Arts and the Ric Edelman College of Communication & Creative Arts.

The application deadline to apply to Rowan as a first-year or transfer student is still open. Rowan will waive the application fee for UArts students and will work with students to provide as much aid as possible to students who received scholarships at UArts.

Moreover, Rowan’s admissions and academic college teams will support students to offer a seamless transition through the application and onboarding process.

Rowan offers bachelor of arts programs in six areas (art; art education; dance; music; radio/television/film; theatre), as well as bachelor of music degrees in jazz studies, music education, performance and music therapy.

Bachelor of fine arts degrees include biomedical art and visualization and studio art.  Rowan also offers a bachelor of science program in music industry.

Graduate programs include master of arts degrees in arts administration, educational technology and television studies, a master of music education and three master of music degrees in performance (classical), composition and conducting.
