Attorney Nikitas Moustakas sworn into Board of Trustees

Nikitas “Nick” Moustakas became Rowan University’s newest Board of Trustees member Feb. 14 following an appointment by Gov. Phil Murphy.

A founding partner and the current managing partner of the law firm Moustakas Nelson LLC in Haddonfield, Moustakas is a member of the bar in New Jersey and New York who has long made service a personal and professional focus.

A current member of the Board of Directors for the Inspira Health Network Foundation, he is a past vice chair of the South Jersey Healthcare Foundation and a past board member of the Capital Health System Foundation.

His professional associations include service as president of the American Hellenic Lawyers Association; vice president, South Jersey, of the Hellenic Federation of New Jersey; advisory board member with Investors Bank; and service with the Union League of Philadelphia.

A graduate of New England School of Law, he earned his Bachelor of Science from Temple University and his MBA from Philadelphia University.

“Education is one of the most important things in my life,” said Moustakas, of Mount Laurel. “(Rowan) has done so much for our community. I’m so proud to join this board and thank you for having me.”
