Insider NJ names three Rowan employees to Policymakers 2023 list

Statewide news magazine Insider NJ has released its annual list of the state’s top 100 policymakers, naming three Rowan University employees to the 2023 tally.

This year’s list includes Mark Magyar, director of the Steve Sweeney Center for Public Policy within the College of Humanities & Social Sciences; Dr. Jie Li, associate professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering in the Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering; and Dr. Stephen M. Scheinthal, chair of the Department of Psychiatry at Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine.

Scheinthal, Insider NJ noted, is also president of the N.J. Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons and “serves as a key N.J. resource on the issue of mental health,” especially in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic.
