Ross Beschler joins Rowan’s College of Performing Arts with nearly two decades of experience as a professional actor. He is a founding member and lead artist of the Wilma Theatre’s Hothouse Company where he appeared in 17 main-stage productions, most recently Dmitry Krymov’s innovative reimagining of The Cherry Orchard. In addition to performing, Beschler served as the assistant director and teaching assistant, teaching the company’s acting methodology and techniques in workshops locally and abroad, including the Theatre Archa in Prague. He is also an associate member of the experimental theatre collective Die-Cast, which won the juried grand prize at Miami’s No Vacancy competition in 2020. Beschler’s solo show Black Metal Crown was featured at FoolsFURY’s 2020 Build From Here.

Most recently, Beschler was an Assistant Professor of Theatre at Rider and taught at the Ira Brind School at the University of the Arts. He holds a BA in theatre from Columbia and an MFA in acting from Temple University.
“Ross Beschler is an incredible addition to our faculty.  He has trained throughout the world with many of our generation's leading theater practitioners, he is a master teacher of voice, body and acting, and is a prolific professional theater and film actor,” says Lane Savadove, professor and head of acting.

In his transitions from adjunct to full-time acting and voice professor at Rowan, Beschler will teach “Voice for the Stage” and “Introduction to Performance."
