Grand opening of Nerd Street’s first collegiate esports venue

Please join President Ali Houshmand, Nerd Street CEO John Fazio and the University community for a ribbon cutting of the new Nerd Street esports venue on Thursday, April 27 at 10 a.m.

About the project

Located on Rowan Boulevard, Nerd Street’s 7,100-square-foot venue at Rowan University contains 50 PCs on the main floor and 10 more on a stage. The facility features another 10 PCs in a private room that will be used by Rowan’s esports teams and for private events and bootcamps. A lounge features four stations of next-generation consoles including Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X.

Under the partnership, Rowan will work with Nerd Street Gamers to develop esports curricula, establish internship opportunities and create club and varsity-level teams.

Parking

On-street parking is available as well as in the Mick Drive Parking Garage, 10 Mick Drive, and the Rowan Boulevard Parking Garage, 200 Redmond Avenue.
