Where to park during Commencement 2022 and other essential information

During Commencement Week May 7 to 13, access to parking and some campus buildings and resources may change.
Information for visitors
Parking & Shuttles
For the main Rowan University Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 7 (rain date Sunday, May 8), visitors may park in Lots A, B, O, D, and in the Edgewood Park Apartments and Chestnut Hall lots off Carpenter Street. Shuttles will loop through these lots to Wackar Stadium. Additional shuttles will loop from Rowan Boulevard/Courtyard by Marriot to the stadium.
During the college-level Commencement ceremonies on University Green May 9-13, recommended parking is in the Townhouse Garage, Lots B, D, O, and the Edgewood Park Apartments and Chestnut Hall lots. Shuttles will loop through these parking lots to Lot R, University Green at Bunce Hall. Additional shuttles will loop from Rowan Boulevard/Courtyard by Marriot to Lot R, University Green at Bunce Hall.
Shuttle service will be free.
Information for employees and students
During Commencement Week, all University offices will be open during regular work hours.
Employees should avoid designated visitor parking lots. Alternate parking locations for employees include the Townhouse garage, Rowan Boulevard or Mick Drive garages or open lots on the north side of campus.
Fitness, Wellness centers
The Rowan University Rec Center and the Fitness Center on Victoria Street will be open during Commencement Week but with reduced hours.
From Monday, May 9 through Friday, May 13, the Rec Center will be open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Fitness Center on Victoria Street will be open 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The Rowan University Wellness Center will be open but on summer hours, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Food service
Though many campus dining facilities will be closed, Freshens in the Marketplace (lower level Chamberlain Student Center) will be open Monday to Friday, May 9-13, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
