Rowan University has been recognized in the Times Higher Education’s 2022 Impact Rankings, an international study that grades universities across four areas in relation to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals: research, stewardship, outreach and teaching.

In particular, the Impact study gave Rowan high marks for ensuring health and well-being, for supporting gender equality, for promoting peaceful and inclusive societies, and for its partnerships and sustainable development practices.

The Times ranking is the latest recognition for Rowan, a top 100 national public research institution offering bachelor’s through doctoral and professional programs to 23,000 students, in person and online.

In September, Rowan was included in the 2022 Times Higher Education World University Rankings for physical sciences and psychology. That study surveyed more than 1,600 colleges and universities across 99 countries and territories.

As Rowan develops, the University seems to be landing on an ever-greater number of organizations’ best-of lists.

In April, the Center for World University Rankings shared it's 2022-23 rankings, scoring Rowan 310 regionally (U.S. and Canada) and 276 nationally.

Also last month, the Broadcast Education Association ranked Rowan's radio, television & film program #9 internationally and the website OnlineMastersDegrees.org cited Rowan among colleges and universities offering the best online Master’s degree programs in Criminal Justice for 2022.

U.S. News & World Report in March released its annual study of the best graduate programs, ranking several Rowan degrees among the top in the nation.
