RIPPAC to welcome U.S. Congressman Jeff Van Drew

The Rowan Institute for Public Policy & Citizenship will host an evening with U.S. Congressman Jeff Van Drew (NJ-2) on Monday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m. in the Eynon Ballroom of the Chamberlain Student Center, 201 Mullica Hill Road, on van drewRowan University’s Main Campus in Glassboro.

Van Drew, a Republican who was originally elected as a Democrat, will be speaking on “The Importance of Public Service and the Need for Bi-Partisanship.” The program is free and open to the public.

Advance registration by Thursday, Sept. 30, is requested. All attendees will be required to submit a health screening prior to the event and to wear masks while inside the building.

“An Evening with Hon. Jeff Van Drew” is co-sponsored by the Thomas N. Bantivoglio Honors Concentration in the Honors College, the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies, the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies, the Center for Responsible Leadership, several academic departments, including Geography, Planning & Sustainability, History, Law & Justice Studies, and Political science and Economics, as well as the program in American Studies.
