Study.Com this week named Rowan University’s Bachelor of Arts in public relations and Bachelor of Science in civil engineering among the best programs of their type in America.

The website, which claims more than 40 million visitors per month, ranked Rowan’s undergraduate public relations degree, which is offered through the Ric Edelman College of Communication & Creative Arts, #3 in the U.S. out of 46 schools in this year’s study.

The University of Oregon ranked #1 for PR and the University of Colorado-Boulder ranked #2.

Rowan also offers a related and very popular Master of Arts in Strategic Communication.

Ranking the civil engineering program in the Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering #28, Study.Com placed it ahead of prestigious programs at Auburn University (#33), Clemson University (#44) and Purdue University (#47).

Along with the popular B.S. in civil engineering, Rowan offers a minor in civil and environmental engineering as well as Ph.D. and Master of Science degrees with a range of concentrations.

“To compile this list, we considered hundreds of universities across the country and selected Rowan University based on academic and career resources, the quality of education, faculty, and more,” editors said in an announcement letter.
