U.S. News ranks Rowan graduate programs among the best for 2021

U.S. News & World Report released its 2021 study of America’s Best Graduate Schools March 17, an annual compendium that ranked several Rowan University schools, colleges and programs as among the best in the nation.

Included in the annual study were the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, which ranked #94-122 in Best Medical Schools: Research and Primary Care categories, out of 188 schools and programs considered.

The magazine ranked Rowan’s Master’s in Nursing program #179-236 out of 578 schools nationwide. It also ranked the Rohrer College of Business’s part-time MBA program at #207 out of 272 schools considered; listed the College of Education at #196-255 among Best Education Schools out of 393; and ranked the University’s master’s degree in Clinical Psychology #193 out of 231 programs reviewed.

In January, U.S. News ranked Rowan’s online programs among the nation’s best, listing them as follows:

  • Bachelor's degree #325 out of 358 schools considered
  • Master of Business Administration #176 out of 340
  • Graduate business degrees (non-MBA) #168 out of 193
  • Master's degree in Criminal Justice #72 out of 88 (80 schools ranked)
  • Master’s degree in Education #224 out of 314
  • Master's degree in Engineering #86 out of 101

The magazine noted that its methodology for online rankings weighted various factors including engagement, services and technologies, faculty and training, expert opinion and student excellence.
