Edelman Planetarium presents special Valentine’s Day program

The Edelman Planetarium at Rowan University will present “Romance Under the Stars,” a special couples-only show for Valentine’s Day, on Feb. 14 and 15.

Shows both days begin at 8:30 p.m. Admission is $25 per couple. Advance tickets are required. Purchase tickets at rowan.edu/planetarium. For more information and questions, email planetarium@rowan.edu or call 856-256-4389.

Like all planetarium shows, “Romance Under the Stars” combines immersive 360-degree videos and 5.1 surround sound with live stargazing on a virtual sky.

“Romance Under the Stars” will include stories of love found in the night sky as viewers visit some of the universe’s most breathtaking scenery. Each couple attending the show will receive a rose and a box of handmade chocolates from The Candy Box of Richwood. “Romance Under the Stars” is suitable for adults age 18 and older.

Using elements of natural sciences, education, communication and performing arts, the Edelman Planetarium provides entertaining and educational events to the Rowan community, and the general public.
