The Ed.D. program in Rowan University’s College of Education has been ranked among the top 60 doctorate education degree programs in the nation for 2020 by Intelligent.com

A trusted resource for online degree rankings and higher education planning, Intelligent.com assessed 137 accredited colleges and universities nationwide. Rowan’s doctoral program in educational leadership is ranked 25th.

According to Intelligent.com, each program is evaluated based on curriculum quality, graduation rate, reputation and post-graduate employment.

Accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation, the Ed.D. program was founded at Rowan in 1997 and was the University’s first doctoral program. Students pursuing the Ed.D. are educated to become reflective practitioners who not only understand and evaluate professional research and literature, but also learn how to translate research and theory into practice to transform educational institutions to meet society’s challenging needs.

The program offers tracks in Higher Education, P-12, Nurse Educator and a Community College Leadership Initiative.
