Career expert Zippia: Rowan #2 in N.J. for jobs!

Employment website Zippia: The Career Expert, released a study this week that concluded Rowan University is the #2 college or university in the state for job seekers.
The site, using College Scorecard data, reported that Zippia staff “searched for the college in each state with the highest listed job placement ratings, looking specifically at employment levels at year 10 after students have graduated.”
The study limited analysis to the 30 public and non-profit, four-year institutions in New Jersey that offer at least a bachelor’s degree.
“Then we ranked each college from best to worst on the percentage of graduates with jobs,” Zippia reported.
In its final analysis, Rowan University ranked #2 with 93.27 percent of students employed ten years after graduation. The ranking positioned Rowan one place behind The College of New Jersey and one place ahead of Ramapo College of New Jersey.
In September, U.S. News & World Report, in its “Best Colleges 2020” special edition, ranked Rowan University #79 among public universities and #166 among all National Universities, five places higher than for 2019.
It also ranked Rowan #21 for Undergraduate Engineering (two places higher than last year), #120 for Best Value, #260 for Undergraduate Business and #121 for Best Colleges for Veterans, the last three of which it did not rank Rowan for last year.
