Enjoy the wonder of a planetarium at Rowan University

The Fredric and Jean Edelman Planetarium at Rowan University continues its speaker series with a presentation on Wednesday, March 15, at 6 p.m., on “One Woman's Universe: Expanding our Future Through the Imaginations of Children.”

Denise Vacca, an astronomy educator for more than 20 years, will usher the audience through a view of the night sky, introducing them to the wonders of the planetarium and sharing her experiences teaching and inspiring children in planetariums and hosting a short stargazing in the theater focusing on the women in the night sky. Vacca, who was a show producer and presenter with the Fels Planetarium for many years, now runs her own portable planetarium business called Stars on the Move (www.starsonthemove.com).
