Mustache March returns to Rowan as participants whip their whiskers into top form
Long or short, dark or light, real or fake, Glassboro’s finest facial fuzz will be on display for the sixth annual Mustache March at Rowan University on Thursday March 2.
Beginning at 11 a.m., registered walkers will congregate on the main floor of the Chamberlain Student Center for pre-walk milk-and-cookie refreshments, while crafting their own bewhiskered upper lips for the walk, which begins at precisely 1:40 p.m.
The march will travel from the student center to the Barnes and Noble on Rowan Boulevard and back again, with all proceeds benefitting the American Stroke Association. The fundraising goal is $2,000.
The main goal of the Mustache March is to get students educated about heart health, what can cause strokes, and how to prevent them through fun mustache-related activities.
A real and fake mustache contest will take place before the walk, and t-shirts are available to purchase for $10, with all proceeds benefiting the American Stroke Association.
The Mustache March is sponsored by Rowan’s Student University Programmers.
