The accounting program in Rowan University’s Rohrer College of Business has been named one of the top programs in the state by Accounting Degree Review, an independent online resource for current and prospective accounting students.

Rohrer’s program was ranked third in New Jersey by Accounting Degree Review. The rankings took into consideration the University’s rankings by a host of organizations, including U.S. News and World Report, as well as the college’s accreditation by the Association of Advanced Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The top business schools in the world achieve AACSB accreditation.

Accounting Degree Review provides data-based rankings and critical reviews of the top traditional and online accounting and finance degree programs, as well as scholarship and financial aid information, career advice, and useful news and information relevant to those in the accounting and finance fields.

Rowan’s accounting program provides both practical and theoretical content that helps students prepare for various accounting careers, including those in professional accounting and financial management.

Accounting students also have the option of majoring in both accounting and international studies, a move that will provide them with a specialization in international business and economics.

Upon completion of 120 undergraduate hours needed to earn a bachelor’s degree in accounting, the Rowan MBA program offers graduates the option to complete an additional 30 credit hours necessary to for CPA licensure. A Certificate of Graduate Studies in accounting also is available for those seeking advanced credits in the field.
