Rowan Radio 89.7 WGLS-FM will recognize the outstanding contributions of two alumni by inducting them into the WGLS Hall of Fame at the station's 18th annual banquet, Thursday, April 19, at Scotland Run Golf Club in Williamstown.

Gary D'Aiutolo of Washington Township, a member of the Class of 2000, and Rob Ryan of Winooski, VT, a member of the Class of the Class of 1997, both will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in recognition of their significant contributions to Rowan Radio as students and members of the community.

D'Aiutolo, who currently is studying for certification as a personal trainer, earned his bachelor's degree in radio/television/film (RTF) from Rowan's College of Communication. He joined WGLS-FM in 1999 to follow his passion for sports. In the station's sports department, he covered varsity athletics, including football, basketball, soccer and baseball. He was an integral part in 13 award-wining sports productions at WGLS-FM.

In 2000, he helped Rowan Radio make history when the station delivered its first Internet simulcast coverage of a sporting event. D'Aiutolo was the color analyst for all three games of the NCAA Divisional III Men's Soccer Tournament Final Four.

In the summer of 2000, D'Aiutolo began co-hosting a classic rock show on Saturday evenings-a show that he continues to host solo as "The Icon." Each spring, "The Icon's" Field of 64 Tournament boosts listener participation to help crown the world's greatest rock band.

After graduation, D'Aiutolo maintained his relationship with Rowan Radio while pursuing other interests. He co-hosted a weekly talk show on WNJC 1360-AM in Sewell and was an online writer for PhillySportsSpace.com. He has volunteered for WGLS-FM nearly every Saturday since 2000, hosting his rock show, working on half-time and post-game shows for Profs football, and serving as a mentor to Rowan students.

Also a graduate of Rowan's RTF program, Ryan, a native of New Milford, is a sports broadcaster for the University of Vermont. Currently, he's entering his fourth year covering Catamounts athletics. He serves as play-by-play voice for women's hockey on CatamounTV and all athletics telecasts on WCAXtra.

Ryan also works with Northeast Sports Network as play-by-play broadcaster for a variety of sports across the state of Vermont, as well as hosting a daily two-hour sports talk show.

Previously, Ryan was the radio broadcast voice of the Vermont men's basketball team. From 2008-11, he worked for the Vermont Lake Monsters professional baseball team. He also was program director and a talk show host on 101.3 ESPN, as well as the operations manager overseeing programs at three other stations.

During his Rowan Radio tenure, Ryan was the broadcaster for a variety of sports, including football, soccer, field hockey, baseball, and softball. He was part of the team that covered the Profs 1996 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball National Championship and was a proud member of WGLS-FM staff in 1996, when the station was named the National Association of College Broadcasters Radio Station of the Year.

Prior to relocating to Vermont, Ryan was operations manager and program director for six radio stations in North Jersey for more than10 years. In 2007, he was named the Clear Channel Radio Crystal Club Award Winner.
