Rowan University public relations and journalism major Darrah Foster of Glassboro received the Anne Sceia Klein Award for Professional Promise at the Public Relations Society of America's (PRSA) Pepperpot Awards held recently in Philadelphia.

Since 2007, Anne Klein Communication Group, a Mount Laurel-based communications firm, has presented the award to a Philadelphia-area student involved in the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA).

Foster, 27, is the president of the Anthony J. Fulginiti chapter of PRSSA at Rowan. She's also a member of Lambda Pi Eta, the communications honor society.  During her recent internship with Magee Rehabilitation Hospital, she contributed to the hospital's 2011 Healthcare Innovation Award.
