Edelman Planetarium hosts Michael Jackson laser show
Vibrant laser colors bring to life the singer’s greatest hits, including “ABC,” “Billie Jean,” “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough” and “Thriller.”
“Laser Michael Jackson” will play at 8:15 p.m. on Saturday nights Sept. 25 through Nov. 20. Admission fees are $5 for adults, $3 for seniors older than 60, $3 for children under 13,and $3 for Rowan students with ID.
Unlike some laser shows, “Laser Michael Jackson” is suitable for most children, though the planetarium staff do not recommend bringing children younger than four years old to any planetarium show.
Also playing on Saturday nights, at 7 p.m. is “The Rowan Universe,” a multimedia planetarium star show depicting all the various kinds of astronomy taking place at the University, including research on comets, the planet Mars and distant galaxies.
The planetarium is located in the Science Hall on the north side of Route 322. More information about the planetarium is available at www.rowan.edu/planetarium/.
