Sci-Fi writer Samuel R. Delany to present reading at Rowan

Samuel R. Delany, one of the nation's most prominent science fiction writers, will present a reading at Rowan University on Monday, Dec. 8, at 8:30 p.m. in Boyd Recital Hall, located in Wilson Hall.
The reading is free and open to the public.
A professor of creative writing at Temple University, Delany is the author of many books of fiction, including Dhalgren, Babel-17, Empire Star, Aye and Gomorrah, Nova, Driftglass, The Einstein Connection and Hogg.
His short fiction appears in dozens of anthologies; among them, The Norton Anthology of African American Literature, Great Short Science Fiction Novels, Postmodern American Fiction: A Norton Anthology, and The Science Fiction Hall of Fame Anthology, as well as Black Like Us: A Century of Lesbian and Gay African American Fiction.
Delany is the recipient of multiple Hugo and Nebula awards from the Science Fiction Writers of America and the World Science Fiction Convention.
