Edelman Planetarium to offer Led Zeppelin laser show
Come get the "Led" out at the planetarium! The Edelman Planetarium at Rowan University begins a new laser light show in the star theater Saturday, October 20, at 8:30 p.m., featuring the hard-driving rock group Led Zeppelin, who produced such songs as "Whole Lotta' Love," "Good Times, Bad Times" and, appropriately, "Stairway to Heaven."
Combining the visceral power and intensity of hard rock with the finesse and delicacy of British folk music and the plaintive voice of the blues, Led Zeppelin redefined rock in the Seventies and for all time. Led Zep music is the driving force behind the most exciting laser shows anywhere. The planetarium's full-color laser projector and powerful audio system make this an event to see and hear.
"Laser Zeppelin" will be performed every Saturday night through December 1. Ticket prices are $5 for adults, $3 for children under 13, $3 for seniors over 60, and $3 for Rowan students. Also playing at Edelman Planetarium is the planetarium star show "The Great Space Race" at 7 p.m.
More information is available at www.rowan.edu/planetarium/ or at (856) 256-LITE.
The planetarium is the result of a generous gift from Fredric and Jean Edelman.
