The Rowan University Chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America in conjunction with the Philadelphia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America will present ?Technology for Public Relations,? on Wednesday, March 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Rowan?s Student Center.

The symposium will include workshops on ?The World Wide Web: Rules for Technology and Content,? presented by Donald Dunnington, director, business communications and senior web manager at K-Tron International, Pitman, and ?Using Your Intranet to Communicate Internally,? presented by Rick Alcantara, founder and principal of Tara Communications, Turnersville. The keynote speaker will be PR professional and author Steve O?Keefe, who will discuss ?E-Mail Media Relations in a Filtered Environment.? O?Keefe, who teaches online public relations at Tulane University College, will address such topics as circumventing filters, avoiding blacklisting and generating positive media coverage.

The cost is $79 for PRSA members and early registrants (by March 21) or $99 at the door (including lunch).
