Engineering Speaker Series to Feature Eagles? Stadium Rep

The College of Engineering at Rowan University will present David
Hatheway, principal for the construction of the new Philadelphia
Eagle's football stadium, as guest speaker for the Henry M. Rowan
Speaker Series on Thursday, February 6, from 11 a.m. to noon in the
Betty Long Rowan Lecture Hall in Rowan Hall.
Hatheway will discuss the construction of Lincoln Financial Field, which will be the official home for the Philadelphia Eagles starting with the 2003 football season. Hatheway will focus on construction management and the challenges and opportunities associated with directing a large-scale project such as this state-of-the-art sporting venue.
Prior to moving to the Philadelphia area to undertake the Lincoln Financial Field project, Hatheway was responsible for the construction of the recently completed San Francisco Giants baseball stadium, the new arena in Portland and the new stadium in Seattle.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
