Rowan University's Engineering Department Enrolls Union County Students

Two Union County residents have entered as freshmen in the College of Engineering at Rowan University, Glassboro, NJ.
They are:
Thomas Stratton of Cranford, a graduate of Cranford High School; and
Scott Fecho of Kenilworth, a graduate of Saint Joesphs High School.
They are among 122 freshman from the East Coast and abroad who have enrolled in the College, which is one of six academic schools at Rowan University, located about one-half hour outside of Philadelphia.
Rowan University's College of Engineering offers bachelor of science degrees in chemical, civil, electrical and computer, and mechanical engineering, and a master of science in engineering degree. Known for its innovative approach to educating tomorrow's engineers, the College offers common lecture and laboratory courses to facilitate highly interdisciplinary and project-oriented programs. In addition to classroom work, students are required to participate in hands-on engineering clinics from their first semester until they graduate and have opportunities to intern at some of the largest corporations in the region.
