Rowan?s Let Me Learn Working with Washington Township Teachers
Rowan?s Let Me Learn Working with Washington Township Teachers
February 6, 2002
More than 30 teachers from the Grenloch Terrace Early Childhood Center in Washington Township will continue their work with the Let Me Learn process Thursday, February 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
in the Library at Rowan University.
The goal of this effort, part of a federally funded project that started in September, is to help teachers recognize that a student?s age will not prevent the teachers from understanding that child as a learner. Let Me Learn emphasizes that the earlier teachers start to work with a child on the basis of how he or she learns, the more likely the child will build the strong capacity for learning, have a better sense of self and have less chance of having his or her external behaviors misperceived.
