Glassboro ? Rowan?s International Student Services and Multicultural Affairs Department will host a week of events dedicated to international education. The program, starting on Monday Nov. 5, will address a variety of issues including the recent terrorist threats.


Program highlights include:

- Monday, November 5

A panel discussion, titled The Muslim World, the United States, and Sept. 11: Historical, Political and Personal Perspectives, at 11:00 a.m. in the Student Center, room 144. Dr. Muhammad Rashiduzzaman, a professor in the Political Science department, will participate in the panel.

- Thursday, November 8

Jerry Herman, director of Africa Program for the American Friends Service Committee, will address issues of U.S. foreign policy and the United Nations in his presentation at 11 a.m. in the Dewey Lounge (Robinson Hall 1st floor).

Rowan will host professor Sidney Katz, who will present on Chemical Warfare: History of the Chemical Weapons and Current Security Concerns at 2 p.m. in Robinson Hall, room 226.
