Rowan Radio, 89.7 WGLS-FM To Broadcast Bobby Seale Lecture

Bobby Seale, founder and national chairman of the Black Panther
Party, will lecture at Rowan University on February 13 from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. as part
of the institution?s observance of African American History month. The lecture will be
broadcast live on Rowan Radio, 89.7 WGLS-FM.
Inspired by Malcolm X speak, Seale helped found the Black Panthers in 1966. At its peak in
the late 1960s, Panther membership exceeded 2,000 and the organization operated in several
major cities.
Since the Black Panther Party has faded from the public eye, Seale has been working to
improve social services in African American communities. His writings include
