ROWAN RADIO, 89.7 WGLS-FM TO HOST ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION WITH MAYOR LUONGO, GLOUCESTER COUNTYFREEHOLDER DEBATE

GLASSBORO, N.J. ?Rowan Radio, 89.7 WGLS-FM will present a one-hour roundtable
discussion with Washington Township Mayor Jerry Luongo on October 24 at 5:00 p.m. The
roundtable discussion will include questions from a guest panel and closing remarks from
Luongo. The guest panel will consist of Rowan University Senate President Ed Streb,
Gloucester County Times reporter Brian Uzdavinis and Mike Eliason, who is a staff
reporter for Rowan University?s newspaper, The Whit.
The roundtable discussion takes the place of a previously anticipated mayoral debate.
Washington Township mayoral candidate Randee Davidson was asked to participate in the
roundtable discussion, but will be unable to attend.
On October 25 at 6:00 p.m., Rowan Radio, 89.7 WGLS-FM will host a 90-minute debate
featuring the candidates for Gloucester County Freeholder seats. Republican candidates
Harry Kennedy, Chris Wilson and Salvatore <+>Sam<+> Casella will square off against
Democratic candidates Robert Damminger, William Krebs and Warren Wallace.
The debate will begin with a welcome from the dean of the College of Communication, Toni
Libro, followed by a 30-minute question-and-answer period, conducted by the same guest
panel for the Luongo roundtable discussion.
The second segment of the debate will feature a 30-minute question-and-answer session
between the candidates. The debate will conclude with closing remarks from each candidate.

http://wgls.rowan.edu, are sponsored by the College of Communication at Rowan University,
the Gloucester County Times and Comcast Cable. The freeholder debate also will air at a
later date on Comcast Cable.
