Rowan Radio to Feature Magic Hat Storytime

Children of all ages are invited to tune into the Rowan Radio Magic Hat Storytime on
Sundays, June 4 through August 27, from 6 to 7 p.m., to hear everything from children?s
classics to the latest titles read by members of the Rowan University community and area
officials on Rowan Radio, 89.7 WGLS-FM.
Sponsored by the Rowan University Educational Opportunity
Fund/Maximizing Academic Potential, the College of Communication and
the Students For Literacy Club, Magic Hat Storytime will offer a broad
selection of multi-cultural tales, including African-American, Hispanic, Irish,
Cajun, Korean and Chinese stories. The goal of the program, which will
feature four stories a night along with children?s music, is to encourage
reading among children and families.
