Robots, AI helping customers in South Jersey

Rowan University's Robi Polikar, head of the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, spoke with the Courier-Post about the many ways artificial intelligence is changing our daily lives. Today, he said, AI-powered robots can function autonomously with little or no human involvement.

"They can make intelligent decisions even in scenarios that we humans may not have considered," Polikar said, adding "we’ve seen just the tip of the iceberg on what AI in general and AI-powered robotics in particular, can do."
