Colleges and students gear up for spring semester
WATCH: Rowan University's plans for the spring semester will look much like last semester, reports NJ Spotlight News.
While some universities are asking students to remain on campus or grouped within small social bubbles, Rowan will continue to rely on testing and contact tracing to identify and quarantine infected students.
"We don't have the bubble concept," said Dean of Students Kevin Koett. "We're really proud of the system that we had in place in the fall where we're monitoring symptoms. We had students that were testing both symptomatic and asymptomatic."
"Through that system, we were able to put students into quarantine and isolation housing if they needed it (and) provided them meal services, housing services, mental health, physical health services."
