RowanSOM's Dr. Jen Caudle urges audiences to take precautions against virus

Coronavirus cases are soaring across the United States, but "we can't really give up," said Dr. Jen Caudle, family physician and associate professor at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. Caudle spoke to Cheddar this week about the latest infection rates and called for a unified response. 

"We have no choice but to keep at it. We have to keep wearing masks and social distancing ... it's really our best bet to getting out of this," Caudle said. 

As for holidays, Caudle said, virtual gatherings are safest. 

"Honestly, I think we have more hard days to come," Caudle said. "I'm not spending Thanksgiving with my family this year. We're doing a virtual holiday. I do encourage others to consider it."
