Yesterday, Cooper Medical School of Rowan University joined with Camden City, Camden County, and State of NJ officials to celebrate the ribbon-cutting of the Cooper-Camden Baby Cafe at the Riletta L. Cream library branch on Ferry Avenue in Camden, New Jersey’s first location in the Baby Cafe USA Network. The initiative, spearheaded by Lori Feldman-Winter, MD, MPH, professor of pediatrics at CMSRU and a nationally recognized expert in breastfeeding medicine, aims to provide breastfeeding parents with support, education, and connection. CMSRU Dean Annette C. Reboli, MD, and more than a half dozen CMSRU students also attended the event. The Cooper-Camden Baby Cafe is set to become a new Service Learning site for CMSRU students.
