What started as a complaint by students about gender equity issues grew into a much broader conversation about the entire program. I expressed at the outset of this process, and reaffirm now, my gratitude to all those who demonstrated courage in stepping forward to share their views. Through our ongoing examination, we have gained new insights.
John Giannini, Ph.D., who for the past year has served as founding director of Rowan University’s Center for Sports Communication & Social Impact, has been named interim athletic director. Giannini succeeds Dan Gilmore, who is retiring after 43 years at the University.
