Cooper Medical School of Rowan University researchers, working with researchers at five other teaching hospitals, published a paper in the February issue of the journal Circulation that concluded too much oxygen for patients following cardiac arrest can be lethal or life-threatening. The research, led by Principal Investigator Dr. Stephen Trzeciak, Medicine, and co-author Dr. Hope Kilgannon, Emergency Medicine, will be followed by studies into reducing supplemental oxygen following cardiac arrest.
Cooking contest featured 15 entries including snacks, appetizers, entrees and a dessert, all of which included Houshmand's Hazardous Hot Sauce.
In celebration of National Hot Sauce Day on Jan. 22, Rowan University and the Landmark Americana will present a cooking competition featuring foods that utilize Rowan President Ali A. Houshmand’s Hazardous Hot Sauce as a key ingredient.
