Money magazine this month added to the list of accolades Rowan continues to accrue by naming the University a Best College for Transfer Students.

Citing a variety of sources including the U.S. Department of Education, Peterson's, PayScale.com and MONEY/College Measures, magazine editors noted that they “weighed a college’s transfer student enrollment and its graduation rate for transfer students” in naming the nation’s best schools for transfers.

The Best Colleges for Transfer Students ranking was included among a group of studies Money published under the heading, “Best Colleges for Your Money 2018.”

Rowan was also recently recognized for its online Master of Business Administration program by the site BusinessStudent.com in its 2019 Editors' Choice Online MBA Programs report.

The online MBA is offered through the Rohrer College of Business in partnership with the division of Global Learning & Partnerships.

Noting the growing popularity of online MBA programs, editors said “students seeking to earn their MBA degree online can have the opportunity to continue to work part or full time, while completing their graduate degree at home and at their own pace.”

Site editors noted a methodology that included a panel of business professionals who “analyzed data from over 300 schools and assigned points to each school in five categories: cost, accreditation, acceptance rate, student support and student engagement. Those categories were heavily influenced by a survey of over 100 current, future and past business students and professionals.”

Among other recent accolades, U.S. News & Word Report Best Colleges edition for 2019 ranked Rowan tied for 171st place among national universities.

The publication ranked the Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering tied at 23rd in its Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs (master's or bachelor's) category and  ranked the Department of Mechanical Engineering 13th (tied) in the nation.
