Rowan University’s Jean and Ric Edelman planetarium introduces an array of one-hour shows available to the public each weekend this fall. Beginning Sept. 28 and ending Nov. 18, the Edelman Planetarium will unveil a brand new planetarium show and 10 laser shows.

The laser light shows use the planetarium’s projection system from Laser Fantasy to engage the audience visually, while also providing music.  Starting Saturday, Sept. 29, at 7 p.m., the Laser Queen show will feature top hits by Queen, including We Will Rock You, Bicycle Race, Another One Bites the Dust, Best Friend, Flash and much more.

The planetarium also introduces Stars of the Pharaohs, a show that takes the audience to ancient Egypt to see how science used to tell time, make workable calendars and align buildings. Indiana Jones and Lord of the Rings voice actor John Rhys-Davies will narrate the show. Stars of the Pharaohs plays Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m.

Admission Costs:
